Pricing Policy for Alarm Relay

At AlarmRelay.Com, we take a lot of pride in delivering a service that is the same quality service as our esteemed colleagues but at a fraction of the cost. Alarm monitoring for $8.95/month is our brand and this policy is meant to clearly articulate our pricing structure so that consumers are aware of how their service will be billed when they first sign up with us and as they continue to be serviced over the years to come.

• Initial year: Total Cost: $142.40—During the initial year, Alarm Relay has a lot of costs to absorb around programming the existing system. We charge a one-time $35 programming fee and then $107.40 for a year’s worth of service paid in advance. This cost averages out to approximately $11.86 per month for the first year of service.
• Second year: Total Cost: $119.40—During the second year we may, as articulated in our terms of service, increase the cost of service. This increase does not exceed $1 per month. This does not always occur, but even if it does occur, it is worth noting that the total cost for the subscriber in year 2 is less than year 1.
• Third year and beyond: Total Cost: $125.40—During the third year we may, as articulated in our terms of service, increase the cost of service. At this point, we may increase the price by 50 cents per month. Here again, it is worth noting that the total cost of service in year 3 is still less than year 1.

Even in a scenario where a customer sees a nominal increase in their monthly fee during the second and third year, the net cost of their service is actually going down in that same period. Therefore, we do not see the $8.95/month package as an introductory price. The introductory price is actually $142.40 and the cost is reduced in year 2 and year 3.

At this time, Alarm Relay has no plans to increase a la carte monitoring to more than $125.40/year. In fact, we are proud to say that we have not increased our prices in over 7 years of operations.

There are other add on services that can drive the cost of monitoring to higher rates. Those services included commercial opening and closing transmissions, cellular monitoring, Internet monitoring and
others.
